Volunteer Morning at Flint Creek Savanna
October 25, 2025

On a crisp autumn morning, volunteers from the Justin Benjamin Foundation joined forces with Citizens for Conservation (CFC) at Flint Creek Savanna in North Barrington, Illinois. Together we collected seed from native prairie plants — including asters, goldenrods, rattlesnake master, prairie dropseed, and little bluestem — to support local habitat restoration and biodiversity.

Justin would be proud of the dedication and teamwork shown by everyone who participated. The Foundation and CFC are deeply grateful for the time and care volunteers contributed to preserving our native prairie plants.

Many volunteers expressed interest in joining future events — we’ll keep everyone posted about upcoming opportunities to get involved.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us build a lasting legacy in Justin’s name.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Justin Benjamin Foundation
